PKI & Crypto Engineer

As a global critical financial infrastructure, the protection of Euroclear information and assets is fundamental to the company’s business. Security is at the core of our services, firmly embedded in the management systems and processes of the company. You will be joining our Chief Information Security Office (CISO) in charge of putting in place the required controls to adequately and effectively protect our information assets.

You will join the PKI & Crypto team in the role of PKI & Crypto Engineer.

Role

Jobholder is a technical security expert, who will design and maintain complex, security software and/or hardware. May lead (from a technical perspective) and coach colleagues, from a technology standpoint, within the PKI & Crypto team.

• Responsible for the design and architecture of PKI & Crypto solutions.
• Develop and integrate PKI & Crypto solutions.
• Contribute in the automation process (CI/CD) and continuous improvement process.
• Become product owner of one or multiple products or technologies.

You will join a newly formed PKI & Crypto team, consisting of experienced PKI Policy veterans and engineers with a ‘can-do’ attitude.

Technical skills

• Good knowledge of Public Key infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of TLS and crypto technologies.
• Good knowledge of hardware key containers (HSM and smart card).
• Good knowledge of Certificate Authority software (Microsoft, Nexus, EJBCA,…)
• Good knowledge of at least 1 programming language: Python, Java, C++.
• Good knowledge of cryptographic libraries (OpenSSL, Bouncy Castle, MS CNG, pyca/cryptography,…).
• Ability to integrate on different technology stacks (Windows, Linux, C/C++, .Net, Java,…).
• Good knowledge of Git.
• Knowledge of the 7 layers of the OSI model.
• Language : English
