Process Engineer - Ghent (Belgium) - Permanent Position

I have an exciting opportunity with a client near Ghent, specializing in the development and production of commercialized products. They are recognized for top-quartile safety in chemicals manufacturing.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Quality Monitoring: Analyses and improves the quality of products, aiming to reduce variability.
  • Data Analysis: Evaluate batch data and trends, and lead root cause analyses.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various teams (Technical, Quality, Production, etc.) to resolve issues and support trials.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Participate in PHAs, follow MOC programs, develop/review SOPs, and conduct incident investigations.
  • DCS Operation: Manage or back up the Siemens DCS operation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
  • 3+ Years’ Experience in the chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in Developing Procedures: Create clear and detailed work procedures.
  • Statistical Analysis Knowledge: For quality and process control.
  • Languages: Proficient in Dutch and English.
  • Team Engagement: Experience in leading teams, facilitating root cause analysis, and driving actions.
  • MS Office Proficiency: Intermediate skill level.
