To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Procurement Supervisor.

Your responsibilities?

  • Problem Solving: Solve critical issues regarding suppliers
  • Premium freights & cost recovery:
  • track and prevent critical items / premium shipments
  • follow up and track premium shipments, AFAP’s/debiting to suppliers
  • KPI’s: supervize procurement key metrics: quantity discrepancy report, Seeburger report, inventory aging, overshipment analysis, ROT
  • Inbound/GR issues: check receiving area related issues
  • Training & continuous improvement:
  • support and train new people
  • leading the team of 13 people to develop and improve internal processes, new applications, alert system
  • Compliance: follow up Yazaki internal process changes
  • Approver: order and approve overtime, holiday, other HR related documents related to the procurement team
  • New Parts introduction/Project Management: Responsible for the procurement of serial parts, of prototype and pre-serial items, and for new projects
  • Supervising procurement activities for new projects / aftersales.

Who are we looking for?

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in logistics.
  • General end-to-end knowledge of supply chain, production, and warehouse operations + Strong knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system functionality
  • Detail oriented with sense of urgency on assigned tasks + Desire to improve existing processes and work in an autonomous environment
  • You have analytical insight, leadership qualities and experience with people management
  • You speak English and Dutch fluently and have experience with Excel and SAP.
