World of Tents, located in Ronse, has a heart for developing and producing tents. Through their years of expertise, they know how to approach different target groups through various brands. For example, they offer solutions for scouting and disaster relief, but they are also active within the growing glamping market and can provide temporary tailormade shelters for larger events. Throughout the organisation, craftsmanship and passion for the product are central.

In the context of their further growth and future plans, World of Tents is looking today for a competent management profile (m/f/x):

YOUR POSITION

  • As Product Manager you analyse the market evolutions by keeping an eye on the new trends and gathering information from the other departments within the organization. You look for possible features within the product portfolio and will steer the project to introduce those new designs.
  • You support colleagues and take the leading role in setting up and rolling out of projects. A structured approach and meticulous follow-up characterize your project methodology and lead to shared successes.
  • You follow up the progress of the product development and will be the intermediary between the different departments within World of Tents.
  • Also you are responsible for sourcing products on the local and international market.
  • With your technical knowledge you help the commercial team within the sales process. You are the bridge between the commercial/marketing and technical department.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have obtained a Bachelor’s degree and a first work experience. Project experience in product development can certainly be an advantage.
  • You are a results-driven team player who relies on thorough analyses. A proactive hands-on mentality is recommended.
  • Excellent personal skills will enable you to develop strong partnerships both externally and internally.
  • Interest in or passion for textile related products and materials will help you keep your market focus sharp.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch, English & French.
