Purpose
As S&OP Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Monitoring and developing the forecasting process (Demand and Supply Planning)
  • Leading the monthly S&OP process in collaboration with several stakeholders (key account managers, marketing, trade marketing, finance)
  • Driving and implementing the S&OP transformation roadmap
Your role will be extremely important as you will have a broad scope of responsibilities, in a dynamic environment and at the centre of the organisation, with an exposure to senior management.
Your tasks:
  • Demand Planning: Lead the forecasting process internally with the Sales team by analysing trends, discussing promotional planning. Adjust the forecasts depending on the market constraints.
  • Supply Planning and stock management: Ensure optimal forecast planning, inventory management as well as supply of goods
  • Lead the monthly S&OP process (one to one meetings, files, presentations, KPIs), identify the risks between Demand and Supply, monitor and address the gaps. Challenge the business and align before presenting to senior management.
  • Allocations management: monitor and ensure good coordination with sales and marketing teams on products under allocation (prestige portfolio with limited supply)
  • Reporting: KPIs reporting at a local and regional level
  • Project management: bring solutions for a constant improvement of supply chain processes, tools and reports, in particular the development of the Demand Planning tool (Anaplan)
  • Team management and people development: manage one direct report deliver expected outcome with the right behaviour, ensuring key stakeholders’ satisfaction. Clarify their career plan and develop them to achieve it.
Your profile:
  • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance or Logistics
  • Minimum 4/5-year professional experience in the field of Demand Planning/Supply Chain Management, preferably in the food & beverage industry
  • Strong ability to work in collaboration with multiple stakeholders as a key business partner, proactively supporting and challenging them
  • Strong ability to lead processes and meetings
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: take initiatives, bring new ideas for improvement, strong ability to work independently
  • Analytical mindset and capacity to simplify complex topics through a structured approach
  • High interest in people management and development (previous management experience is a plus)
  • Solid knowledge of the MS Office package
  • Experience working with Demand Planning / Forecasting tools (Anaplan is a plus)
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. Navision) and BI tools (e.g. Qlik Sense) is a plus
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge in Dutch and French are a plus
  • Willing to travel to Amsterdam office (20%)
