S&OP Manager

KitchenAid Small Domestic Appliances is a leading company in the small domestic appliances industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers. We are seeking an experienced S&OP Manager to lead our dynamic planning team and contribute to the strategic growth of our organization.

This role in summary

The S&OP Manager will play a pivotal role in our organization by leading a team of 6 dedicated professionals, comprising 2 Demand Planners, 2 Supply Planners, 1 Spare Parts Planner, and a CRP (Customer Replenishment Planner).

This position will be responsible for driving the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, collaborating with key stakeholders from various departments, and continuously improving our overall supply chain operations.

Your responsibilities will include

Leadership and Team Management:

• Provide strong leadership and guidance to the S&OP team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

S&OP Process Coordination:

• Lead and facilitate S&OP meetings with cross-functional teams, including GM, Finance, Marketing, and Sales, to make key decisions on short-term, medium-term, and long-term planning.
• Ensure that the S&OP process aligns with organizational goals and objectives.

Driving operational excellence:

• Oversee demand planning activities, working closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Demand Planners to improve forecast accuracy and demand management.
• Coordinate supply planning efforts, collaborating with Supply Planners to optimize inventory and production plans.
• Manage the Spare Parts Planner to ensure timely and efficient availability of spare parts for our products.
• Work closely with the CRP to ensure that product availability and resources are optimized, aligning with the S&OP process.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to enhance the overall S&OP cycle, improve forecast accuracy, and drive operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with other supply chain stakeholders, including global teams, marketing, sales and logistics, to streamline processes and reduce costs.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in S&OP management or related roles, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position.
• Strong understanding of demand and supply planning principles, inventory management, and production scheduling.
• Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using S&OP software ( IBP and or Anaplan) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and drive change within the organization.
