Inchcape Belgium is part of the world’s largest independent car distributor with plans to launch a new leading international electrical automotive brand in Belgium and Luxembourg.
We are currently looking for a driven and enthusiastic Sales Manager in Zaventem, Antwerp and Ghent who will be an integral part of this launch in 2022.
Inchcape works with over 40 of the world’s best-loved car brands to enable better mobility, today and in the future. Our 14,500 team members work in 40 country markets in Asia, Australasia and the Pacific, Central and South America, Africa, Europe and the UK.
As Sales Manager, you are responsible for the sale of electric cars and optimisation of all processes around them. You pursue ambitious goals and guide the team of the different concessions (Ghent, Antwerp and Zaventem) in the right direction. Your responsibilities include:
- You are responsible for setting monthly and annual sales targets for the Sales team in the different concessions.
- You ensure the proper treatment and follow-up of the sales administration (sales file according to internal rules), you follow up on current sales campaigns and you closely monitor the sales results.
- You manage the Sales team, follow them up closely and coach and guide them in their daily job.
- You carry out monthly evaluations and work on the development paths of the Sales Advisors. You take care of training and education.
- You are responsible for the planning and leave arrangements of the Sales Advisors and calculate the monthly commissions.
- You monitor customer satisfaction and personally see to it that customer complaints are followed up with the necessary care, you work out actions and implement them.
- You ensure that the showroom is always optimal: sufficient and clean vehicles, good mix (of types, colours and versions), accessories, financing proposal on vehicles, prices, Co2 sheet, ...
- The stock (weekly) and the demo fleet (monthly) are well monitored: ageing stock, stock level, stock rotation, price adjustment, stock mix, delivery times, ...
- You detect issues in current processes and optimize where possible.
- You also sell regularly to keep in touch with the customers.
- You have a successful (preferably automotive) sales experience.
- You like to put the customer first and to have a personalised approach for each customer.
- You have experience in managing a team.
- You are a team player who is very results-oriented and has a hands-on mentality.
- You are enterprising, stress-resistant and flexible, and you speak fluent Dutch, French and English.
