Senior Analyst, Sales Excellence

Overview

Mastercard Direct Services (MCDS) is a dynamic Pan European B2B sales unit centrally located in Waterloo, Belgium, reporting into the Market Development Group Executive. The MCDS model is fast growth, delivered through efficient and effective remote account development and management. We operate across Europe, focusing on medium / small and remote customers and prospects, both as account managers and business developers.

Role – Sales Excellence, MCDS
  • Supports MCDS Strategy development and execution planning
  • Accountable for marketing and travel budget tracking and monitoring
  • Supports sales team to conduct bottom-up planning and reconciliation with top-down targets
  • Analyses P&L and helps sales team understand their financial contribution
  • Supports preparation of management reporting on a quarterly basis
  • Runs dashboards for team KPIs tracking on a regular basis
  • Overlooks the team’s pipeline of Customer business agreements and Customer marketing agreements, Salesforce opportunities pipeline, Account Plans
  • Works on required development planning & education for MCDS staff
  • Drives AI & automation project for operational activities
  • Supports and participates in strategic initiatives for MCDS team or customers
  • Supports organization of MCDS strategic customer events (conferences, sponsorship events)
  • Be a change agent! Advance focus and rigor related to solutions development, and their execution. Bring AGILE thinking to the table to constantly improve value of MCDS within the organization

  • Analytical mindset with strong execution discipline
  • Proficient communication throughout different levels in the organization
  • Results orientated, with a strong sense of urgency
  • Have an entrepreneurial approach and vision
  • Project management & planning – being able to balance input from multiple sources as well as utilization of scarce resources
  • Knowledge of MC products and services
  • CRM & IT systems understanding
  • Act with integrity
  • Demonstrable teamwork skills are required
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluency in at least 2 European languages is required, English is the must

Location: Waterloo (Belgium)
