Introduction:
One of our clients is currently looking for Senior Business Analysts (Business Architects). This role is critical to the success of the project to assist in replacing the ageing legacy systems with the very latest technological solutions. The project is of high strategic importance for the Agency and has a strict and challenging timeline that has to be met.

The consultants will be tasked by the Business Manager but will also be required to work closely with the Network Management Technology Division Architecture Unit with regard to process and tooling. They will be supported by the Agency staff but should be able to work independently as much as feasible.

Skills, knowledge, experience required:
  • University studies of at least 4 years with specialisation in system engineering, aeronautical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, business analysis or a comparable qualification;
  • 5-10 years’ experience in relevant roles;
  • Proven experience in:
  • User requirements capture for complex system-of-systems architectures;
  • Business analysis and business architecture development;
  • Recent experience on large and complex change programmes/projects;
  • Ability to coordinate teams;
  • Proven ability to work in a multinational and multicultural environment;
  • Excellent client-facing skills;
  • Analytical thinking: applying methodical approach to complex information;
  • Communication: fostering two-way communication;
  • Managing people: implementing effective people management practices;
  • Result focus: ensuring achievement of shared goals;
  • Decision-making: taking decisions based on balanced arguments;
  • Professional conduct in line with the corporate behaviours of the Agency, i.e., result-driven, readiness to change, customer focus, integrity, and team-player approach;
  • Self-starter, autonomous;
  • Thorough knowledge of English (oral and written).
Desirable:
  • Professional certification in:
  • Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and ArchiMate;
  • Business analysis and/or requirements management;
  • Experience with:
  • Jira or equivalent tools for requirements management;
  • TOGAF and/or ArchiMate;
  • Experience/certification or equivalent in the air traffic management (ATM) domain;
  • Knowledge of Spanish language.
Duties/role:
  • Developing and documenting Service (User/Stakeholder) Requirements and the Business Architecture describing the current operational capabilities of the Network Manager, and thus providing a baseline against which the future evolutions can be built;
  • Producing the Service Requirements Document(s) and Business Architecture Landscape (and other documentation as needed) describing the current organisation, functions, processes, and requirements for IT capabilities to support the business architecture.
