A company active in the Industry and Solutions market is currently looking to hire a Senior Financial Controller to join their offices in Flemish Brabant (West).

As a Senior Financial Controller of this Business Unit, you will oversee all finance- related areas, reporting to the Business Unit Financial Director. You will manage service agreement with finance, accounting, and treasury shared service centers. The scope of the business unit represents a spread in Europe, North West Africa, the Middle East and APAC.

Your main responsibilities as the new Senior Financial Controller will include:

  • Responsible for the analysis and follow-up of key financial risks at site level
  • Lead all closing and forecasting processes for the scope in coordination with the SSC and all operational stakeholders
  • Prepare, provide and monitor all necessary reporting and controlling analysis including variance analysis to the management
  • Collaborate with SSC obtaining, providing, and validating proper finance information
  • Propose action plans to the management based on relevant analysis aiming to achieve operational targets
  • Foster internal control in all functions, monitors that group policies are implemented, spread group’s instruction and requests

Your profile:

  • You have a Master’s in Economics or Finance
  • You have minimum 7 years of controlling expertise
  • You are fluent in English and French. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus

Your strengths:

  • You have a good knowledge in Accounting, Credit Management, Treasury and Contract management
  • Through your previous experience you have built a knowledge of SAP and you are eager to join an international company
