Working in the Customer Operations Telenet Tribe

As a Senior Manager for Internal Retail, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of District Managers, Shop Managers, and Shop Representatives (~165FTE) across our Telenet retail locations (20 Telenet shops and 5 dual brand shops) in Flanders & Brussels. You will play a key role in driving sales, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence within the retail department.

You will be an integral part of the management team of the Customer Operations Telenet Tribe, reporting into the Tribe Lead. The mission of this tribe is to “empower businesses, freelancers, and residential customers in the digital world through human interactions”. And when we talk about human interactions, we always talk about both sales & service. We truly “go all the way for our customers” and your peers focus on contact center and digital assisted interactions (incl. social media), field- and telesales and of course interactions through our external retail partner network. Your tasks as our Senior Manager - Telenet Retail

As Senior Manager - Telenet Retail, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing visionary leadership and direction to a team of District Managers and indirectly to Shop Managers and Shop Representatives.
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and improving the performance of district and shop managers through regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Ensuring a consistent and exceptional customer experience across all retail stores by developing and implementing new sales and service strategies.
  • Providing insights and recommendations for improvement to the broader organization, based on the generated and analyzed reporting on sales performance, customer feedback, and key performance indicators.
  • Setting the monthly sales targets, in line with commercial plans
  • Deliver on KPI’s in the areas of customer satisfaction (e.g., tNPS), commercial results (e.g., sales, cross- and upsell), employee engagement and budget (e.g., expenses, staffing costs, resource allocation, co-advertising).
  • Co-developing the internal & external Telenet Retail strategy.
  • Collaborating with other departments and tribes, such as commercial, product, journey and people tribes, back-offices, finance, supply chain and data & insights, to align on strategies and achieve common goals.

  • Proven experience in business management, by preference within retail or telecom industry.
