About the position

Danone BeLux is looking for the Finance Business partner of the Marketing and IPRO (Innovation Productivities Realization Office) teams across our 4 categories.

The Senior Marketing and Innovations Controller is at the heart of the resource allocation process, bringing a fact-based and transversal view to the business partners and being the guardian of a strong, profitable and sustainable growth.

The position allows working in a dynamic environment within the Danone Belgium finance team. Join us on this great adventure!

Your Mission
In this role you will have several challenges. Key accountabilities include:

• Delivering an efficient process to report on Actual spend against (Rolling) Forecast. KPIs will including % Budget spent, Fixed vs Variable spend, Working vs Non-working spend, Effectiveness (KPI to be developed)
• Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of figures including explanatory comments to the results
• Supporting and challenging the marketing teams in order to drive the best resource allocation, aligned with the resources and strategy of the entity
• Leading the Finance review of Innovations business cases, working with the marketing teams to understand the business and category value of new products
• Further increasing the financial awareness in the organization and understanding of the impact of all our activities on our financial KPI’s
• Motivate, lead and make the team grow (2 people)

As a person you

• Have strong analytical skills linked with the ability to think strategically
• Take responsibility and ownership
• Embed a culture of continuous improvement within the team
• Connect naturally to all stakeholders and engage and influence them to change behaviours and processes to make improvements and avoid failures
• Translate business needs into financial impact and are a strong communicator
• Are at ease with Office software (mainly Excel and PowerPoint), knowledge of SAP, Essbase
• Motivate and lead a team
• Speak fluently English. Dutch or French is a plus
