Position: Software Developer

Location: Kortrijk, Belgium

Contract Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a talented Software Developer to join a dynamic development team in Kortrijk. This role involves maintaining and enhancing existing products as well as developing new and innovative solutions. If you’re passionate about building scalable, reliable systems and writing efficient code, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend logic to ensure systems are reliable and scalable, focusing on performance, speed, and data integrity.
  • Write clean, reusable, and efficient code with automated tests to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to determine system requirements and design effective solutions.
  • Design and implement embedded software algorithms for commercial applications.
  • Define and execute testing and maintenance procedures for software and hardware platforms.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Multimedia & Communication Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with C/C++ and Python in a Linux environment.
  • Knowledge of multimedia frameworks and stacks such as GStreamer, WebRTC, and RDP.
  • Familiarity with integration tools like Git and Jenkins.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as Docker and VMware.
  • Knowledge of Rust is a plus but not required.

  • Proven ability to write high-quality code and conduct thorough design/code reviews.
