About The Job

Based in Mons, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. As a senior technician, you will provide level one direct support to users and you will be responsible to provide guidance and advice to the other Centralized Service Desk members and perform more complex technical tasks.

About You

We’re looking for a talented and knowledgeable IT Service Desk professional with ideally a higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with minimally 2 to 4 years’ experience in Service Desk Operations. A different qualification coupled with particularly relevant experience may also be considered.

Knowledge Of
  • Service operations, processes, service delivery, reporting, and continuous improvement;
  • And experience in, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of MS Windows 7 and 10, MS Office, Visio, MS Project and Internet Explorer are essential;
  • Creating workflows, process flows and Knowledge Base documentations periodically.
Extensive experience in end user support in general;

Experienced In
  • Usage of ITSM tools such as BMC Remedy, Jira, Service Now etc;
  • The installation and maintenance of mobile computing solutions (e.g. VPN access, Notebooks, Remote Access and WLAN);
  • Outlook configuration, administration, and troubleshooting in MS Active Directory and Exchange.
  • Establish regular checks and ensure to update them before expiration;
  • Customer focus and service orientation as well as highly effective interpersonal skills in dealing with demanding customers under high workload.
Knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
