INTRASOFT International,a leading European IT solutions provider, is seeking a professional to cover the following opening:
Social Media Expert (EU Institutions)
Your main duties will be:
- Monitor, maintain and further develop several intranet pages related to knowledge management (information sources, who’s who, KM page, online showroom of collaborative projects).
- Develop, validate and publish new online content related to knowledge management (on intranet).
- Design, prepare and participate in online and face to face events to promote collaboration.
- Design, deploy and report on an internal survey on knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Facilitate and animate an internal network on collaboration, including co-creation and implementation of knowledge management initiatives in DG JUST.
- Support a network of local M365 champions (together with the two designated ‘top champions’).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Above the generic knowledge and skills linked to the profile, knowledge and expertise in the following domains are important.
Task 1: Monitoring, maintenance and development of intranet pages related to Knowledge Management
“Information sources” page:
- Regularly monitor usage (monthly) and report statistics
- Operate updates on a need basis
- Propose and implement (together with the JUST WebTeam in Unit 01) a new, decentralised model for maintaining the page, based on web correspondents in policy directorates and horizontal units
- Evaluate the impact of the new model and its sustainability in the medium and longer term
“Who’s who”
- Regularly monitor uptake (% of staff having completed the ‘About me’ and ‘Ask me about’ fields)
- Identify and propose ways to promote the uptake of this feature and its usage for KM purposes
KM page on intranet
- Develop in line with the activities carried out, make it as attractive and user-friendly as possible
- Monitor and report on the traffic on the page
Showroom of collaborative projects
- Further develop by including examples from across the DG
- Promote the good collaborative practices and lessons learned
- Monitor usage / visits
Identify, propose and implement improvements to these pages, develop other online resources as appropriate.
Task 2: Awareness raising and promotion of collaborative practices
Prepare and participate in internal events on KM, with a focus on collaboration in the hybrid working environment.
Liaise and cooperate as appropriate with the Commission’s One Stop Shop for collaboration, participate in relevant meetings and exchanges.
Task 3: Survey on knowledge sharing and collaboration
Prepare – in co-creation with the internal collaboration network and building on previous editions – an internal survey on collaboration in DG JUST, to be carried out in September 2022.
Promote the survey through the available channels with a view to maximise participation by staff.
Analyse the data and prepare reports on the survey’s results.
Task 4: Support, facilitation and co-creation with internal networks
Animate and facilitate the internal network on collaboration in DG JUST (active since April 2020), engage the network in co-creation to identify and implement relevant KM initiatives that promote efficient collaboration in the hybrid working environment.
Support the activity of the network of local M365 champions (active since October 2021) and support the two ‘top champions’ in DG JUST in their engagement with the network.
Help assess the feasibility and prepare the ground for an eventual merger of the two networks.
For all these networking activities, develop and maintain (including optimisation, streamlining, new features as necessary) the online collaboration tools (the two networks are currently operation in Teams).
