This position will be part of the KION Group - Mobile Automation Global Service team! KION Mobile Automation (KMA) is the world-leading, fast-growing, innovative frontrunner in the development of mobile robotics, robotic fleet controllers and cloud-based fleet logistics management systems. KMA has a focus on Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems. AGVs are fully autonomous robots that move and transport items in production, warehouse, and distribution centers without manual intervention or permanent conveying systems.

Tasks and Qualifications:
To further strengthen the department, we are looking for you as "Software Engineer" at location Antwerp as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide remote top level technical support by analyzing and resolving complex AGV/AMR technical problems in a timely fashion (exceptional onsite support for issues that can’t be resolved remotely).
  • Contribute to our shared KMA Technical Support global operation by meeting internal KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) measured by our ticketing system.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of technical solution articles and processes that improve our knowledge base for self-service by our customers.
  • Knowledge sharing of technical and non-technical information with colleagues locally and globally.
  • Contribute to service and support readiness through testing and debugging of a variety of host software, providing feedback and being ready to support new software and hardware releases.
  • Provide analytical and innovative input to improve our technical support and products.
  • Strive to technical excellence and expertise through continually developing your technical and non-technical skills.
  • 24x7 On-call rotation as required for business needs.
Qualifications:
  • University degree with a technical focus or 3-5 years’ experience in high level technical support
  • Customer-focused and quality mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player that works well with others in a fast-paced innovative environment
  • Outstanding time management to meet deadlines and performs well under pressure•Takes initiative and can drive change
  • Eager to learn with technical aptitude to assimilate new learning quickly•Basic understanding of mechatronics
  • Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, C#, C/C++ experience•Some Database Experience (such as MS-SQL, Oracle, or others)•Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux•Experience with Communications Protocols (TCP, UDP, FTP, etc....)
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel (approx. 5%-10%)
