A company active in the Insurance sector is currently looking to hire Team Leader (BOAR/IARD) to join their offices in Brussels. Thanks to your experience in team leading or claims, and your knowledge of BOAR/IARD products, you will play a key role within the company.

Your main responsibilities as the new Team Leader (BOAR/IARD) will include:

  • be responsible for the daily operational follow-up of the team;
  • Leading and coaching your team with a view to an optimal customer relationship: technical knowledge and commercial attitude;
  • Conducting follow-up, performance and evaluation interviews with your employees;
  • Collecting, analysing, reporting and communicating information with the aim of enabling smooth operation at team and department level on the one hand, and as input for management when making policy decisions on the other;
  • Acting as a point of contact for your team members for technical questions;
  • Creating a nice working atmosphere;
  • Documenting the management process and participating in all kinds of projects to improve existing processes (special focus on efficiency)

Your profile:

  • You have a degree in Economics, Law or Finance
  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ previous experience in insurance
  • You have an excellent knowledge of BOAR / IARD products
  • You are able to work both in French and Dutch
