Job Description

For a company in Strombeek-Bever, we are looking for a Warehouse Assistant with Chemical Background with good English communication skills, both written and oral.

Your Main Tasks

  • Unloading and loading goods on-site.
  • Placing and order picking of goods in the warehouse.
  • Forklift-related activities.
  • On-site transportation with a van.
  • Checking minimum stock levels and placing orders where necessary or upon request from internal customers.
  • Placing and tracking orders with approved suppliers.
  • Receiving, handling, and recording raw materials delivered to the BIC site.
  • Monitoring missing documents (such as Material Safety Data Sheets) for ordered and delivered materials.
  • Delivering or collecting materials and documents to/from various departments and maintaining records.
  • Sorting and distributing packages or goods.
  • Handling the required general administration.
  • Communicating with the relevant departments.
  • Packing and repacking powders and liquids in accordance with dispensing procedures.
  • Administration of the dispensing schedule and activities performed.

Profiel

  • You have a minimum A2 diploma - bachelor degrees are also eligible.
  • Experience and/or education in chemistry is an additional advantage.
  • Good command of English (both written and spoken) is required.
  • Proficient MS Office skills, expert knowledge of Excel is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and with discipline.
  • Familiarity with systems such as CISPRO, SharePoint is a plus.
  • Valid forklift certificate is a plus.
