The EXMAR Group is currently looking for aYachting Coordinator to reinforce the Yachting team in Antwerp, HQ.

Your role in the team

As a Yacht Coordinator, you will take care of the crewing aspects of a fleet team to ensure the vessels are manned with qualified and competent crew and to coordinate efficient and economical supply of spares, stores and services to the vessels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Secure suitable qualified crew members;
  • Timely identify planning gaps or future needs;
  • Support in selection, promotion and onboarding of new recruits;
  • Provide assistance to vessels and crew with planning & coordination matters;
  • Organize practical arrangements for relief of crew members (plan, follow-up on schedule, flight arrangements, visa formalities, local logistics, …);
  • Act as first point of contact with the seafarer;
  • Ensure crew compliance prior to embarkation of seafarer;
  • Take part in the emergency crewing duty watch, …

Requirements

  • 5 year(s) of experience in an administrative position;
  • You are able to keep an overview and look for the best solutions in a very dynamic environment where people, tasks and conditions change constantly;
  • You are able to take ownership, make decisions and take proactive action in case of problems;
  • You are able to cooperate with the crew on board in order to solve crewing related issues;
  • Experience in crewing or purchasing (maritime) is a plus;
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, Dutch & French.
