a Quality Operations Team Responsible in Bruges, Belgium

Based in Bruges, Belgium , the QOT Responsible is owner of the Design and deploy Quality Control Plan per manufacturing process to support an external demerit at 0 for Alstom Customer and the Zero Defect Program.

Main responsibilities

Accountability & Authorities:
PIQ manager profile – Process Industrial Quality manager (Master’s degree in engineering)

Manage Industrial Quality activities in relevant workshop (IQ team + process + KPI).
Stop the production in case of a defect which justifies mandatory rework.
Participate or delegate customer joint Inspections.
Participate to process FMEA definition.
Build, implement & regularly update Quality Control Plans with REX of previous project execution.
Ensure customer approval, documents validation & compliance of the manufactured products before shipping.
Perform Line Quality Animation with cross function team.

Technician profile:
Perform, participate to inspections of products (Customer joint inspections included if applicable).
Manage problem solving.
Records inspection results in the industrial tools as required & performed follow-up.
Perform first characterization & manage NCR’s for non-compliant products for internal responsibility.
Have ability to accepts or reject products as defined in the working instructions / Expert support.
Support manufacturing teams regarding the self-inspection, delegation of control (Training, audit, …) & Position
Quality Animation with EPU manager.

Performance measurements:
Defects per Unit reduction (10 % per year) and External demerit objective.
CONQ objective (for CONQ S1.1 & S1.3).
APSYS score for Industrial scope

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical…) or equivalent for PIQ.
Associate degree for Technician (ex. equivalent of BTS in France – 2 years technical degree after high school)
Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools.
Processes knowledge on Quality and at industrial level.
Management experience (for PIQ manager).
Proficiency in Dutch, French and English.
