Cegeka’s Aviation division plays an active role in supplying IT platforms & services for air traffic management in Europe.

The 2022 horizon creates a massive opportunity for you as aquality manager, being responsible for traceability and quality throughout the whole Digital Platform which facilitates air traffic management with focus on software assurance level (SWAL) standards. The Digital Platform will accelerate delivery and hosting of software applications, offering technical enablers, common services and development tooling (such as security, data services, release automation, Quality Assurance etc.).

What will you do?

• You’ll work in an highly complex and highly regulated sector, where safety is the utmost important priority.
• You identifyandanalyse needs regarding quality and initiate and execute improvement projects to ensure that the quality standards are efficiently and effectively achieved or improved. In other words, you are the main driver for the internal quality management systemand processes.
• You determine quality standards, methods and procedures and you ensure that current quality systems are further optimized and meet requirements that are continuously becoming stricter.
• You are familiar with the quick response quality control method (or an equivalent) and will be responsible for its practical implementation.
• Performing complex technical quality controls on processes and regularly produce reports of the results of those controls to ensure that the quality can be guaranteed is key.
• You are responsible for maintaining a quality risk log and for the initiation of the corrective actions.
• You’ll collaboratewith variousstakeholders: working closely together with the development team, but also with enterprise architects, product management and release manager to make sure the platform meets all quality standards.
• You’ll organize internal audits as well as assisting external auditorsin their audit work.
• Having an affinity for technical solutions and platforms is key.
• Your ambition is to embed quality in the core of every action the project team is taking so that they become (more) self-steering in reaching and eventually exceeding quality standards

Who are we looking for?

• You have worked at least 5 yearsin a Quality Management role.
• You have a platform- and developer-centric mindset.
• You’re ability for attention to detail is one of your strengths.
• Having sufficient insight in software development requirements, architecture, software source code, and software tests is key.
• You are experienced in either software system testing, software reliability, software quality, or software safety.
• Broad knowledge of ISO-9001Quality system and SWAL standards.
• You get energized by investigating failures within the product for root cause and finding remedies to those issues.
• Experience in projects in aviation is a plus.
• You are a strong communicator, speaking and writing fluently in English, in combination with French or Dutch is a plus.
