As part of our growth plan in healthcare, we seek a laboratory technician who can provide technical support in R&D laboratory environment to provide technical support and innovation on new product/process developments that meet customer needs in healthcare solutions mainly.

Job Description
  • Performs under minimum supervision lab tests, application and analytical method development
  • Performs physical/mechanical testing based on industrial norms for product qualification.
  • Generates data to solve technical problems and to support development programs
  • Responsible to transfer developed analytical methods into procedures.
  • Responsible for operational capability of equipment; responsibility to perform calibration checks and regular maintenance/service of the equipment dependent on needs; identification of critical spare parts depending on needs.
  • Identification of adequate personal safety equipment to conduct chemical operations.
  • Sets, adjusts and operates technical equipment and/or testing instruments
  • Coordinates and checks work and test requests and independently writes reports
  • Assistance to R&D tests preparation and analysis
  • Assistance to complaint investigation and quality control
  • Organize service/repair of laboratory equipment (in person or with the aid of external help).
Qualifications
  • Technical degree in chemistry (Bachelors/Masters)
  • Demonstrated experience in an industrial environment is an advantage.
  • Practical experience in chemical laboratory techniques (sample preparation, definition and application testing of solutions).
  • Knowledge in a number of the following instrumentation/techniques UPLC/TA/Rheometer/Tensile
  • Familiarity with UPLC/TA/Rheometer/Tensile and associated software is an advantage.
  • Knowledge in UV chromatography, (FT) infrared is an advantage.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiatives
  • Knowledge of method development; validation and statistical analysis
  • Good analytical, problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to do mechanical hands-on work.
  • Willingness to learn and openness to change to different programs and priorities.
  • Good analytical, problem solving skills.
  • French, English and an additional European language is a plus.
  • Occasional travel in support of the development programs.
