The Parliament Magazine is seeking an ambitious reporter to help cover EU policy and politics. The ideal candidate should have at least five years of experience, be based in Brussels, and have a comprehensive understanding of European institutions.

The role includes reporting and writing stories across a range of content types – including news analyses, long-form features and Q+As – for our digital and print platforms.

The reporter is expected to pitch and execute at least two digital-first stories per week, along with two larger features for the monthly print magazine. The role also requires a strong familiarity with SEO, social media, and content management systems. As we continue to grow our digital presence, the reporter will be encouraged to pitch visually-focused stories, making use of infographics and video.

About us

The Parliament Magazine is a policy-focused publication committed to telling the stories impacting and shaping the European Union. Our reporting across the continent and globe – be it on foreign policy or economics – seeks to answer two key questions: why does this matter for the EU? And what are the implications for policymakers at the European level?

While our editorial perspective is undoubtedly supportive of the European project at large, the publication maintains an unwavering dedication to fact-based and fair reporting that holds institutions and leaders accountable, while fostering debate and dialogue across a range of viewpoints.

Interested candidates should send a cover letter and CV to christopher.alessi@theparliamentmagazine.eu.
