This position will be a member of the Mobile Automation team. The product team consists of a global group of engineers and technical leaders located in Europe Belgium, Germany, North America, Michigan, Mexico, Australia & China focused on the development of mobile automation support software.
This position of Scrum Master will facilitate 1 or more distributed engineering team. This individual will work closely with a dynamic leadership team including other Scrum Masters, Product Owners, RTE, Engineering Managers, Project Managers, and Engineers. The Scrum Master will support the engineering
teams in the delivery and execution of committed goals, as well as coaching the team on industry-standard Agile processes and ideas What we offer:

Tasks and Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is required or experienced know how
  • Familiarity with Lean principles
  • 3-5 years of agile coaching working experience is required.
  • Strong experience working in a Scrum framework by open assessments.
  • Ability to guide the team on applying the Scrum processes that works for them while adhering to the Agile Principles laid out in the Agile Manifesto.
  • Understanding of the Agile framework and principles.
  • Strong experience with Visual Management Systems/Kanban
  • The ability to effectively communicate to a variety of global audiences including Scrum teams, internal and external stakeholders, Product Management teams, and Agile peers.
  • IC-ACC, PSM I and or II preferred.
  • Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead in establishing team processes in project delivery, internal team development, and iterative improvement
  • Develop and maintain team Visual Management System to aid in making the teamwork visible
  • Assist team in establishing transparent metrics for quality, delivery, and morale.
  • Work closely with other Scrum Masters to identify inter-team dependencies, escalate impediments, and share team learnings
  • Ensure all work is visible and tracked, lessons learned from project work are implemented, and impediments are raised
  • Assist in in coordinating cross-team efforts for discussion and problem solving.
  • Work with the team to identify and implement goals for iterative improvement
  • Promote communication and collaboration within and across engineering teams
  • Promote a culture of trust, continuous learning, dedication, and collaboration across a geographically diverse team
  • Facilitate industry-standard Lean-Agile practices, including KATA coaching, hypothesis driven development, User Story Mapping, Impact Mapping, Peer Programming, Version Control, Rode Review, delegation, Stakeholder mapping, Team agreements & Role Expectation Management & team dynamics building, DoD & Knowledge transfer
  • Facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including the Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives as well as SAFe meetings
  • Engage the team in Backlog Estimation exercises that engage the team in identifying possible risks, communicate with each other, and create accountability
  • Empower team members to own effort and initiatives within their teams through selforganization
  • Support the use of Miro, JIRA and Confluence by adhering to standard work guidelines
  • Guide the team on the right path to remove impediments in order to enable the team to reach their goals
  • Hold the team(s) accountable to their internal processes, like the team Definition of Done, as well as any relevant organizational standard
  • Execute on behaviours of servant-based leadership that garner strong relationships within and outside of the team
