We are looking for a versatile Security Consultant who quickly creates clarity in complex situations. He/she maps risks and compliance questions to suitable and effective secure solutions in collaboration with the customer and relevant stakeholders. Based on his extensive experience in other roles such as IT project manager and service manager, he/she thinks and acts from a business perspective.

Main tasks

  • The Cyber Security Expert supervises and steers the security of the Services within the defined scope.
  • He/she delivers proactive advices on security and related risks, and acts upon the provided advices to avoid security issues.
  • He/she liaises with the Security Experts.
  • He/she provides inputs to the Strategy & Innovation Board and to Development Work Group.
  • He/she executes the recommendations from audits performed by the client.
  • the security profile should act in a DEVSECOPS environment.
  • He or she should be familiar with the develops approach or have been working in a development environment.
  • The role has to liaison with the devops teams and instruct them on the security requirements and at the same time collect security assurance information to be handed over to the client together with the software. The role will also have to liaison with me as security team manager

List of activities to be performed :

  • Cooperating with the Safety manager and the quality manager for the product to be assessed and certified for the required level.
  • Providing metrics and reports for compliance proof
  • Providing the SRA with the additional security risk-based requirements for the design, the testing, handover, and operation phase of the functional model
  • Assessing the outcome of the different security test (SAST, DAST et cetera)
  • Assessing the completeness of the backlog for security purposes
  • Assessing the standard response plan for the module when failing with regard to a security incident
  • Assessing the completeness of the documents for all stages of the module in its lifecycle

  • Sectors - Transport, Business services, Education, Healthcare, Central government.

Summary of mandatory requirements

  • More than 8 years of relevant experience in domain
  • Languages: English MANDATORY + French is a strong asset
  • Start: This is a freelance position. We are looking for freelancers that are able to start ASAP
