Job Description

Develop quality departmental strategies to ensure adherence with customer expectations and ensure the company holds the necessary ISO certifications Define, develop and improve processes and procedures in support of the Research & Development department as well as of the Manufacturing department. Enforce consistent improvement and monitor the Quality activities department Define, develop and report Quality metrics Ensure a good performance of the quality management system and all related activities Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the company Ensure the promotion of awareness of applicable regulatory requirements and quality management system requirements throughout the company Contributes to the achievement of the quality objectives as stated in the quality policy.

Tasks

  • Define, develop, maintain and improve processes needed for the quality management system and ensure they are documented and monitored
  • Define, monitor and report Quality metrics
  • Monitor and force consistent improvement of processes and procedures
  • Oversee, motivate, mentor and evaluate quality employees’ performance
  • Manage the continual improvement system and take care that the system is used correctly by all users
  • Initiate improvement proposals, formulate action items and a proposal to provide the resources needed to carry out the action items.
  • Organize meetings for process analyses (first meeting and follow-up meetings depending on the circumstances and evolution)
  • Plan, implement and follow-up all kinds of quality actions to ensure the continuity of the management system.
  • Evaluate the impact of possible changes in the quality management system to the existing system.
  • Conduct extensive investigation to understand the root cause of problems.
  • Prepare and drive quarterly management review meeting to evaluate the overall quality system and define actions
  • Report on the performance and effectiveness of the quality management system and any need for improvement
  • Support and perform Quality internal audits and give training to project auditors
  • Coordinate, help and perform quality education to entire staff.
  • Conduct customer satisfaction interview, analyse and report data
  • Conduct external audit of critical suppliers and drive their qualification
  • Head and monitor quality activities to ensure company’s products comply to quality standards.

Authorities

  • Drive and approve changes in the quality management system
  • Drive management review meeting and approve actions for continual improvements
  • Approve Quality strategy and metrics
  • Review and approve together with the team leaders the software validation report and new training programs
  • Review and approve the project definition phase closure with respect to the quality requirements
  • Review and approve critical suppliers

Job Requirements

Education/experience:

  • Bachelor / Master degree in Engineering – Preferably in electrical engineering
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO13485 standard
  • More than 8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in a technology company setting

Mandatory competences

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO13485 standard
  • Experience executing and reviewing quality audits, and providing recommendations for improvement
  • Proven soft skills, and an ability to collaborate in a team setting
  • Ability to communicate with and influence executive leadership
  • Able to work independently to set and achieve goals, and find solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills
