Senior Market Intelligence Analyst

We are looking for:

• Perform market studies on raw materials and capture the prices key drivers and main suppliers stakes, and to develop a deep market understanding on chemicals products value chain, competitive landscape, disruptive trends, total cost of ownership, market outlook and risk evaluation for petrochemical building blocks, Agro commodities, coal chemistry, mineral and bio-sources products.

• Develop and present market analysis for strategic raw materials
• Define and propose recommendations for strategic product sourcing initiative
• Support preparation and co-develop the Sourcing Strategy presentation with the responsible category buyers
• Provide strategic marketing support to the Raw Materials Procurement organization

You will bring:

• Master Degree, preferably in Chemistry or bio-engineering. 3 to 5 years experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry
• Marketing Intelligence or Procurement experience is a plus.
• Highly motivated and fast-learning team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude who shows initiative, flexibility, determination and professionalism;
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and written; any other language as a plus
• Excellent analytical skills, including data crunching, problem structuring and synthesis;
• Having demonstrated a strong ability to work collaboratively in a multi-cultural and international environment (through past internships and/or experiences abroad);
• SAP & BW knowledge is a plus
• English (mandatory); another language is a plus
