AsSenior Recruiter, Western & Southern Europe (WSE) you will lead in identifying, attracting, and retaining the best talent across a wide variety of junior-to-senior level roles in this sub-region (predominantly Netherlands, Belgium & France, occasionally Spain, Portugal & Italy) as well as partnering with local HR colleagues to help define country-specific candidate experience and external partner resource strategies.

You will focus on roles across a variety of research, commercial, project and shared services business units and engage with local HR colleagues as well as hiring managers. You manage the whole process from ‘go-live’ to offer acceptance, using your knowledge to define appropriate advertising and sourcing strategies as well as utilising your search tradecraft to source quality candidates.

Reporting to our Recruitment Manager, Europe (Non-Tech) in London and working closely with Recruitment Shared Service colleagues, the Senior Recruiter, WSEwill act as the senior recruiter in the sub-region and guide a small regional sub-team team of 2 recruiters.

As Senior Recruiter, WSE you are proactive, full of energy, engaging personality who strives for quality of service in daily tasks and is also able to ’own’ key process and projects as well as contribute to strategic European & Global recruitment initiatives (across D&I, recruitment education, employer branding etc).

As Senior Recruiter, you will have the following key accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with local WSE business and HR colleagues to fully understand resource requirements, role profiles and take detailed job briefs with emphasis on both technical & soft competencies.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle of designated vacancies from job advertising and sourcing, through interviewing, to offer.
  • Use online talent sourcing tools, network and recruitment tradecraft to effectively engage and ‘sell’ opportunities to variety of candidates.
  • Maintain relationships with critical talent pipelines, internal business partners, hiring managers & stakeholders.
  • Build compelling job descriptions and adverts, post and manage applications as well as work with internal recruitment & marketing teams on defining advertising best practice and innovation.
  • Highlight trends and potential process improvements to enable a consistently improving candidate experience.
  • Identify, inform and educate the WSE non-tech business on appropriate improvements to their recruitment practices.
  • Contribute to system efficiency /development of recruitment technologies.
  • Analyse WSE recruitment data and informing wider team to inform our recruitment strategy.

Now that we’ve introduced you the positions as Sr. Recruiter, what skills, qualifications and experience should you have?

  • Around 5 years of talent acquisition/recruitment experience – either agency or ‘in-house’ environment (preferably within Data Insight, Market Research or related Consulting B2B business).
  • Significant knowledge of recruitment and sourcing tools and techniques (esp. active sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Demonstrated championing of great/improved candidate experience.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, adapt to ambiguity and manage multiple relationships.
  • Strong track record in placing mid-senior level professionals and solid stakeholder experience.
  • Experience of using candidate ATS systems (preferably Workday).
  • Fluent English language skills (written and spoken) plus one other major WSE European language (preferably Dutch, French, Spanish).

Preferable…

  • Agency side ‘360’ role experience or full acquisition lifecycle In-house experience.
  • Recruitment team management or mentoring experience
