Position Overview

Manage Trade accounts, identify new opportunities and generate sales to support the strategic growth of the Home Collection
Business. Liaising closely with Interior Designers, Architects and Developers you will be acting as a brand ambassador.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities within the A&D community by outreaching and introducing them to the world of RL
Home, identifying their needs and driving sales
- Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality by greeting, listening and assisting customers. Exceeding their
expectations and demonstrating in depth knowledge of the product.
- Proactive management of existing Trade clients, building long term relationships and generating repeat business
- Introduce new collections and product including: furniture, lighting, fabric, wallpaper, rugs and home accessories.
- Showroom appointments, studio visits, daily correspondence
- Manage presentations, projects, administrative tasks and communications to drive results
- Generate and follow up on quotes and leads
- Negotiate, manage client’s objections and close sales
- After sales care
- Maintain and update Trade database, appointments and quotes using company tools
- Consistently meet showroom and personal sales objectives and KPI’s by delivering an elevated and personalized level of
service and communication to all customers in store and via outreach
- Be able to report on ongoing business and pipeline
- Communicate Product and Customer feedback to buyers and managers
- Participate in store activities including but not limited to: Daily maintenance standards front and back of house in line with
the Ralph Lauren Brand Image directives, Inventory, Replenishment, Product transfers, New product launches and
Seasonal floor changeovers
- Attend industry networking events and socialize with our target customers
- Perform opening and closing showroom duties as needed.
- Exhibit pride through a positive demeanor, body language, personal presentation and dress standards in line with the RL
expectations
- Always adhere to all company policies and standard operating procedure
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- 3-5 years of prior work experience specifically in the luxury Home sector
- Proven successful B2B sales experience and knowledge of the interior design industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Communicates with confidence (verbal and written) and maintains highest level of professionalism
- Ability to multi-task, work in high pressure environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, proactive mindset and solution driven
- Positive energy and genuine desire to work with people.
- Passion for learning and thriving in a selling environment.
- Has a strong focus on achieving personal sales and KPI goals.
- Proven capacity to utilize technology to drive sales, excellent computer skills
- Proficient in English, other languages a plus.
