Salary Range: USD 70,000 – 72,000 per annum

Experience Required: 5 – 10 Years

Role Purpose

  • Lead R&D initiatives in advanced battery design, with focus on nano-silicon anode development, cell architecture, material characterization, and data-driven innovation. Responsible for building scientific roadmaps, validating hypotheses, setting up lab infrastructure, and supporting commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute nano-silicon anode research roadmap, performance targets, and milestones.
  • Develop next-gen cell chemistries, architectures, and lab infrastructure.
  • Establish experimental design frameworks and interpret data to drive product strategy.
  • Lead material characterization and support patent filings.
  • Translate R&D outcomes into technical value propositions and train BD teams.
  • Build partnerships with universities, labs, and consortia; represent the company at conferences.
  • Mentor teams to foster innovation and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Graduate in Chemistry + PhD in Materials Science, Electrochemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience: 5–10 years in battery R&D, conductive materials, or energy storage systems (anode development preferred).

Skills

  • Battery & cell design (electrode/electrolyte formulation, coin/pouch cell assembly).
  • Testing & analysis tools (SEM, XRD, BET, TGA, potentiostats).
  • Lab setup, equipment handling, and safety compliance.
  • Strong in experimental design, data interpretation, and aligning R&D with business goals.
  • Effective collaborator with excellent documentation and communication skills.

Other Requirements

  • EU Citizenship required.
  • Demonstrated job stability (minimum 2 years in previous organizations).
