Position : Senior Test Specialist

Location : Melle, Belgium

Type : Contract Role

Description

Assists the Test Coordinator with test preparation.
Develops test cases and test data, supports key users, business analysts and/or designers in developing test cases and test data. This concerns functional testing, but also partly technical testing (with a focus on interface testing, but possibly also fail-over, performance, etc.).
Makes agreements with the other testers involved about timing and working methods.
Performs tests himself and supports other testers (Designers, Business Analysts, Business users).
Performs an initial analysis of defects and continues to monitor them. Assist with troubleshooting if necessary.
Documents all test ware in JIRA.
Reports on the test aspects to the Test Coordinator.

Context

Extensive experience with test preparation and test execution.
Extensive experience with application of formal test techniques (e.g. equivalence partitioning, boundary value analyses) and preparation of test data.
Extensive experience with Quality Center / Jira.
Thorough experience with Use Cases and UML analysis techniques.
Experience with SAP ECC6.
Experience with Agile projects.
Experience with the operation of the liberalized energy market.
Demonstrable training with certification or equivalent through experience in testing large business-critical applications
Demonstrated experience with formal testing methods and techniques
Demonstrable experience in writing test strategies and test scenarios
Demonstrable experience as a tester in an Agile/Scrum project
Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.

Should have

Demonstrable experience in scripting/development
Solid general IT technical knowledge, which allows you to independently design tests based on functional and technical design documentation of various types of applications.
Demonstrable experience with HP ALM/Quality Center
Demonstrable experience with testing Web applications
Demonstrable experience with UML / Use Case modeling.

Must Have :

Demonstrable experience as a tester in an Agile/Scrum project
Demonstrable experience in writing test strategies and test scenarios
Demonstrated experience with formal testing methods and techniques
Demonstrable training with certification or equivalent through experience in testing large business-critical applications
Demonstrable experience with JIRA
Demonstrable experience with meter management processes in the liberalized Belgian energy market
Demonstrable experience with SAP ECC6
Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.
