As a Service Engineer (Mission), you will:

  • Produce and maintain architecture material.
  • Provide guidance, monitor, control, and review architectures implemented by Programs and Projects.
  • Ensure coherency across Programs and Projects.
  • Enforce the usage of Design Guidance and Patterns in Projects and Programs.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in large and complex Communication and Information Systems (CIS) engineering and design.
  • Expertise in Communication Systems, Networks, Infrastructure, Virtualization, Cloud, Security, Monitoring and Control, and Interoperability.
  • Knowledge and experience in system architecture and design.
  • Proficiency in Enterprise and Capability architecture.
  • Experience in leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with CIS-related international, commercial, and industrial standards.
  • Experience with Military CIS systems and deployable CIS systems (Military and/or Civilian).
  • Strong Project Management skills.
  • Experience in Service Design and Management.
  • Familiarity with management frameworks such as ITIL, PRINCE2, PMP, etc.
  • Experience in Architecture frameworks and modeling languages such as TOGAF, NAF, Archimate, SysML, etc.
  • Prior experience working in an international environment.
  • Knowledge of NATO’s political ambition and organizational structure.

You should possess the ability to:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation.
  • Guide and oversee the implementation of architectures across various projects and programs.
  • Ensure the alignment and coherence of architectural efforts across multiple initiatives.
  • Apply design guidance and patterns effectively in diverse project environments.
  • Lead and coordinate teams with varied expertise to achieve architectural goals.
  • Navigate and adhere to international and commercial standards relevant to CIS.
