For our production site in Heist op den Berg we are looking for an

Shopfloor Systems Junior Engineer

This role will report into the Business Technology group as part of the site ShopFloor Systems team. The specialist will develop increasing degrees of knowledge and responsibility in order to become a subject matter expert within the manufacturing space. The successful candidate will be responsible for infrastructure design/specification, problem solving, testing & qualification, version control, data integrity requirements and infrastructure reliability. The Assoc. Specialist will support the Small Molecule line of business with opportunity to be exposed to multiple business areas; and is expected to develop and maintain technical knowledge in their respective area(s) of expertise. The Assoc. Specialist will demonstrate exemplary collaboration, communication, problem solving and project skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports, maintains and develops computerized systems and infrastructure in pharmaceutical Manufacturing & Packaging.
• Collaborates with operators, technicians and engineers in order to provide robust systems that deliver reliable, sustainable performance from the shopfloor systems.
• Provides technical guidance during system modifications, updates or replacements of shopfloor systems and infrastructure.
• Liaises with other technical functions to ensure successful technology transfers of new and in-line products and processes.
• Responsible for the creation and updates of system documentations all according to the current cGMP regulations and internal System Life Cycle process.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:

Experience:

• Minimum knowledge Pharmaceutical/Biotech GMP industry in an automation/IT capacity
• Knowledge of Shopfloor systems & infrastructure and/or applications

Qualifications:

• Educated to Degree (or equivalent) in Automation Engineering, Electronic Engineering, IT Applications etc.

Skills:

• Creative, innovative, thinks outside of the box, self-motivated, applies problem-solving skills in engineering fundamentals and equipment troubleshooting
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible
