Your role & work environment
This position involves the analysis and sale of solutions to hedge equity risks within ING’s institutional & corporate client base, as well as the pro-active sale of products helping holdings and family offices to optimize equity exposure in a highly regulated environment.
You will work closely together with the Equity Derivatives Trading teams, other regional Sales teams and FM Legal, globally with a focus on the European time zone, in order to serve ING Corporate & FI clients or prospects. You will also often interact with relationship managers, lending and credit risk team as a product ambassador.
Your key responsibilities
- Pitching, preparing and executing strategic corporate and institutional transactions;
- Coordinating sales, support and trading teams within an efficient deal team;
- Building and maintaining client relationships (visits, calls, chats & market, products and regulatory discussions);
- Travelling and acting as a product specialist for local Sales and relationship managers located in the different ING sales hubs;
- Taking care of recurrent derivatives flow business (RFQ, trading, post-trade follow-up);
- Participate to the development and organization of the desk.

As an Equity Derivatives Sales you will also need the following qualifications and competences:
- A university degree in business economics, and/or CFA or equivalent academic background;
- A commercial experience of 3-5 years with a good understanding of the internal Wholesale Banking organization;
- Experience in Financial Markets and knowledge of equity derivatives will be considered as a plus;
- Genuine team player;
- Perfect command of English; being fluent in French and/or Dutch is considered a plus;
- Mix of commercial and analytical skills;
- Strong presentation skills (making PowerPoint pitches, presenting);
- Ability to work on various transactions/projects at the same time, often under pressure, and to prioritize resources accordingly;
- Entrepreneurial, hands on and can do attitude;
- Eager to learn and to share knowledge with colleagues.
