Working in the Finance-team
We are looking for an enthusiastic Subledger Accountantfor Telenet’s Order to Cashto join our team in Mechelen.The ideal candidate makes optimal use of automations and likes to think actively about improving our processes and systems. Our new colleague is a team player who communicates easily and adapts to a fast-paced work environment.

In this role you will report to the Team Coach Order to Cash. You also have the option to work from home a few times a week as our processes are largely digitized.

As our Subledger Accountant, you will be in charge of:

  • Booking bank statements
  • Processing payments in Isabel
  • Reconciliation of several suspense accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Follow up on questions regarding payments
  • Solving problems with payments and bank statements
  • Provide solutions requiring end to end visibility and ownership of O2C processes
  • Thinking along about process optimization and further automation

Having fluent communication skills is essential in this role, as you will be connecting with both internal and external contacts.

  • Other financial departments such as General Ledger, Tax, Purchasing, Controlling

Our new Subledger Accountant

  • A bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and VAT
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • ERP experience is a plus
  • Very good knowledge of Dutch and English & knowledge of French is a plus
  • You have an eye for detail without losing speed
  • You passionately take ownership of your tasks and are a team player your colleagues can count on.
    • You are communicative and problem-solving in order to find structural solutions together with your customers and colleagues
