Position: Supply Chain Process Improvement Leader

Hybrid: (office/home).

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Missions and responsibilities

Driving and implementation the overall Continuous Improvement activity for Supply Chain EMEA.

The primary responsibility will be to facilitate the improvement of systems and methodologies across EMEA to generate cost-saving initiatives, track and document all Continuous Improvement (Supply Chain) projects with the Steering committee and maintain Cost Trackers associated with these projects.

Ensuring system/product flow and accuracy demand planning, inventory and distribution. Identifying operational and logistical deficiencies in the supply chain; providing supporting data, analysis, modeling, solutions, and implementation support to regional team.

Leading all distribution key strategic initiatives to implementation. Key ownership of Distribution Strategic Roadmap to support business growth. Work cross-functionally and with all levels across the organization to lead the region in continuous improvement initiatives, providing thorough communication and ongoing updates to key leaders. This position reports to the Supply Chain Director.

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitate the development and implementation of improvement ideas and lead projects.
  • Approve and maintain up to date continuous improvement projects portfolio in the Power Steering database, including cost tracker detail.
  • Support and assist in corporate initiatives to improve the SC processes.
  • Optimize distribution and logistical software to support evolving supply chain and enterprise systems.
  • Optimize product flow across multiple sites to improve service and reduce cost.
  • Lead team in identifying and implementing performance improvement opportunities across the Supply Chain.
  • Assist in ongoing development and implementation of region Roadmap. Provide ongoing updates to all stakeholders.
  • Coaching and developing teams to use lean methodology and thinking.
  • Creating effective communication processes to engage all relevant employees.
  • Advocating value stream thinking and analyzing value stream opportunities to drive improvements.
  • Reconcile daily reports to ensure system accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Primary leader/expert for region Systems (WMS, ERP, etc.), working with IT and external vendors to optimize operational execution.

What It Takes:

  • Extensive experience and understanding of inventory control, demand planning, and Logistics operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize process flow to improve efficiency.
  • Cross-functional project management experience.
  • First class collaborator, hands on leader driving improvements
  • Ability to coach, teach and mentor your colleagues.
  • Natural communicator with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong Facilitation skills change management experience.
  • Autonomous, comfortable with remote management.

Qualifications, experience, knowledge:

  • High school degree is required.
  • Experience in the similar role 5 years+
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement.
  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in the use of excel.
  • MSD / D365 and power BI knowledge
