For our client located with its HQ in Gentbrugge, we are looking for a Support Officer with technical skills.

The role offers an exciting opportunity as "Inhouse Technician" in a global environment. You will work inhouse in the Ghent office repairing and maintaining instruments, developed by our client.

Your direct team of 15 colleagues is located all over Europe. All performed activities will be reported to the Service & Support Process Manager who is also located in the Ghent office.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain the clients’ instruments. Diagnose problems involving connectivity, function and performance of the instruments and their components.
  • Provide online and telephone support to the customers
  • Follow up service requests in the system and if necessary, redirect problems to appropriate support resources
  • Assist the logistics department and maintain stock, keep inventory on used materials
  • Make sure administration in the CRM system is done correctly according to standard processes and procedures
  • Keep up with the new product releases and advanced servicing techniques.
Profiel
  • You have an electronic/electricity background (VCA certificate is a plus)
  • Proficient in Windows Software, working knowledge of PC (Microsoft Office, Windows).
  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
  • You are a team player but can also work independently
  • Accuracy is a strength of yours
