Our client, an international insurance group whose aim is to support trade relations, is looking for a surety underwriter to take part to their worldwide expansion. Taking part to this project, will make you quickly reach your objectives!

Your responsibilities - Surety underwriter

  • You will have a key-role in which you will be focusing on risk underwriting & client management, product & risk portfolio management, compliance & controlling activities.
  • You will promote the company’s surety activities by striving for profitable business.
  • You will assess companies by providing high quality underwriting analysis in line with the firm’s risk appetite.
  • You will collect financial and other necessary information.
  • You will propose and negotiate with clients and brokers conditions of a surety agreement.
  • You will be responsible for the issuance of surety bonds.

Profiles


Your profile - Surety underwriter

  • You have auniversity degree in Law, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
  • You have a relevant experience in the banking or insurance environment. A specific experience in risk or underwriting is a plus.
  • You speak French or Dutch and are able to communicate in English.
