Job Description: *
The Talent Manager will plan, organize, coordinate and control the talent management activities of Asco Group in order to gain, maintain, retain and continuously develop the required talent to enhance the company’s capability in taking on business challenges and to help the company achieve the required business results in the short and long term.

Accountabilities* :
1.Talent Pool
Develop, propose and, after approval, communicate and implement an overall talent management plan for the company to continuously develop the in-house talent.
- Assist and advise all managers in defining their talent pool
- Assist and advise jobholders in establishing their talent profile in order to ensure that this is complete and reflects the existing situation and the expected/wished evolution over time.
- Improve and keep up to date the competence management system

2. **Development_*
Perform in close collaboration with management a gap analysis and assure a match between the existing and the required talent pool in order to define overall and individual training and development needs and the programs to address them.
- Define together with the relevant managers the needs to develop and improve competences based on the results of the competence management system
- Assure integration of these needs in the training plan and follow up on the competence development.

3. *Recruitment & Selection
End responsible for the recruiting and selection activities for white and blue collars within a restricted budget and time frame with the aim to attract and hire the right candidates (internal and external) in line with the business needs.
- Build a network of potential internal candidates
- Scan the market and choose the tools and service providers needed to find the best talents.
- Build partnerships with different recruitment offices, schools, training institutes.
- 2 weekly reporting to and communication with Senior Management and Execom on recruitment actions (Mobility Forum).

4. *Retention
Follow-up and improve retention
- Manage, execute and analyze (supported by the Senior Recruiter) the follow up meetings after 3 months in service and give feedback to the business.
- Manage, execute and analyze (supported by the Senior Recruiter) eventual exit meetings and give feedback to the business.
- Organize individual meetings to prevent people from leaving the company

5. *Communication
Develop in close collaboration with the CHRO a communication plan that assures a frequent and clear communication on all relevant business related aspects within the Asco Group
- Organize and lead the 3-weekly management meetings
- Prepare, discuss and distribute the Group communications
- Prepare and launch a quarterly pulse check within the Group and assure a good follow-up of the results on a departmental level
- Assist in the organization of (ad hoc and traditional) personnel events to maintain and – where possible - improve employee engagement.

6. *HR Improvement Projects
Manage, introduce and implement different HR improvement projects in order to enable Asco Group to become and remain an employer of choice in the market.
- Develop, analyze, implement and follow-up innovative ways of attracting, developing and retaining employees
- Roll-out different HR tools for Talent Management for Asco Group

7. *Business Partner
Support and guide the Management staff in people management aspects
- Ensure Management staff members have the necessary leadership competences to perform their work and if not, initiate improvement actions in this regard
- Assist the management staff with personnel matters regarding talent management activities like: personal development, evaluations, recruitment…

8. *Budget
Provide all data and advice in the preparation of the annual HR plan and budget in order to ensure that it encompasses the required resources to continue and even expand the Asco talent management efforts.
