Mission

As Technical Buyer at SNAE you will be part of the procurement team based in Gosselies and have to secure the availability of technical parts. You will be responsible for the stock replenishment in cold situations and will react rapidly to the needs of the business in case of emergency. You take care to find the best alternative between delivery lead times and pricing. You will work in close collaboration with the rest of the team and will apply the processes to secure procurement efficiency. You will work in an international environment and insure best in class customer support.

Responsabilities

• Support the business to get the technical purchases delivered on time.
• Interact with the customers in a professional way.
• Build a network of suppliers to respond rapidly to the requests.
• Be responsible from ordering to delivery and will take the appropriate actions to facilitate the payment process.
• Respect the procurement process and the standard working methods in place.
• Communicate proactively towards the business in case of potential issues in the delivery process and find alternatives.
• Multitasking will be part of your day to day and you will have to manage priorities

Your profile

• Bachelor degree or have the same level of experience
• Ideally 3 years’ experience in technical procurement (experience in aviation is a plus)
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in Englishand Dutch or French(for Gosselies)
• Result and customer oriented, quality-driven
• Dynamic, stress resistant and good negotiation skills
• Flexible, out of the box thinking and real team player
• Good knowledge of an ERP system (SAP is a plus) and of MS office
