Job definitionIn this role, as a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be providing support to customers using Esdec products and working closely together with our Sales Managers in France. It is a challenging position for 40 hours a week (fulltime) and you will be working from your home office.Being a technical expert, you will recommend solutions and maintain a good record of all work and communications with the customer in our CRM system, including documenting solutions in our knowledge base. To be successful in this role, you must be a motivated self-starter and keen to learn, possess good customer service and technical problem-solving skills, and be someone who embraces challenges.Tasks and responsibilities:
  • Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand root cause of their case;
  • Effectively communicate with end-users on technical aspects, from design phase to installation;
  • Accurately document and update tickets in the tracking systems;
  • Maintain communication with the customers on the status of all open tickets;
  • Leverage and contribute to internal technical knowledge and expertise;
  • Properly escalate unresolved topics to appropriate technology teams.
As a Technical Sales Engineer you work for the business unit Esdec Solar Projects as part of the Esdec Solar Group. Esdec Solar Projects delivers to developers and EPC companies. You will be a part of the Esdec Sales Team Europe, which is an enthusiastic and energetic team who work closely together even a lot of your colleagues are based in different countries. Approximately every 3 months you will be joining a meeting in Deventer to stay connected to your colleagues in the Netherlands. This is the time where you’ll catch up with colleagues and you’ll receive a lot of updates from various departments as well as product trainings. You will report to the Commercial Manager Europe.Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor level is preferred;
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position;
  • You are able to build relationship with customers;
  • Languages: French (near native/fluently) and English (very good) spoken and written;
  • Intensive travelling is required, and you have a driver’s license.
