A motivated RF Engineer to work with our (A)DAS and small cell team to design cellular and public safety in-building (A)DAS systems, quote new installations, benchmark (walk test) facilities, commission new systems, and troubleshoot existing systems.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

Master Electrical Engineering or equivalent through experience
3 years’ of Wireless RF Engineering experience.
Experience with IBWave or any other RF Modelling Software
Proficient with Visio
Experience with Automated RF test Tools (TEMS, WIND, JDSU, Rhode&Schwarz, PC Tel)
3 years of Wireless RF Engineering experience with a focus on 5G NR, LTE, WCDMA, GSM
Knowledge of 5G NR / 4G LTE Protocol including KPIs, VoLTE, Layer 3 protocol troubleshooting
Knowledge of Layer Management (A3/A5-1/A5-2/B1 Events) including hysteresis and time-to trigger, qRxLevMin, CSFB
Understanding of Carrier Aggregation, MIMO, and Beamforming
Experience with LTE Design with iBWave, MapInfo, Atoll, Planet, Wizard, or Asset.
Familiar with Uplink Ue behavior and Ue Tx Power.
Understanding of impacts of poor SINR / RSRQ and mitigation of poor SINR / RSRQ.
Familiar with Passive Intermodulation (PIM)
Experience with creating RF Link Budgets.
Multifaceted professional capable of Technical Engineering & Project Management.
