Mission

As atest manager,you are involved in the testing activities regarding the MIG 6 post-go-live project. You have a good knowledge of the MIG6 business processes and you understand the processes of the different departments impacted in the project (Market operations, registration, move, billing, accounting, finance, etc...).
  • You define the test strategy both for ’external’ test cases with the other market players and the ’internal’ test cases with the departments.
  • You identify the test cases to be performed in order to test the positive and negative behaviors of the business processes by means of the developed systems and identify potential gaps.
  • Together with the impacted departments, you identify the resources on business side who will execute the user acceptance testing. You verify (together with your team and these business users) that the systems made available are sufficiently easy, user friendly and efficient to allow their use in production by the operators. From time to time, you assist in the test execution yourself.
  • You are in charge of coordination and communication with all stakeholders, to accelerate the testing. You are able to improve the testing ways-of-working and to streamline the testing processes.
  • You make sure that the test results are documented in a clear way, and that defects are registered in defect tracking tools.
  • You report the test progress and status to the MIG6 Project

Liege : 3 days/week

Profile
  • The ideal candidate has at least 7 years’ experience as test manager
  • knowledge of the field of energy. Knowledge of MIG6 is a plus;
  • has excellent communication and coordination skills;
  • is a testing ’guru’, able to inspire entire teams into improving the IT quality;
  • has profound knowledge of HP ALM and Jira;
  • has experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies and enjoys working in these environments;
  • has experience with test automation;
  • is gifted with a strong analytical mind and brings structure in its deliverables;
  • enjoys working under pressure and is motivated by challenges related to short deadlines;
  • Required language level FR (Good), EN (Good
