Function

As part of cross-functional or technical projects organized within the Service Delivery department, primarily those with an impact on client workstations, our client is seeking an Expert SD Tester to serve as a Test Manager/Test Coordinator. The role involves supporting different teams in the validation and acceptance of cross-functional implementations. The Expert Tester will be responsible for coordinating functional validations with the application manager and expert users. They will act as the Single Point of Contact for the Service Delivery department, responsible for IT infrastructure and operational monitoring at our client, as well as being the contact person for cross-departmental project testing. They will collaborate with Project Managers and project teams for various small and large-scale projects, organizing test preparation and execution for projects such as large-scale migrations, software update deployments for client machines, integration of new technical support tools, or IT hardware implementations (clients, servers, network). Depending on the project content and context, the Expert Tester may assume a coaching or coordination role. Their responsibilities include planning, setting up the testing environment, supporting expert users in executing tests, and providing test result reports to project managers. Practical knowledge of ITSM services and processes is required to support implementations within the standard processes implemented at our client. Experience in technical implementation projects is a plus.

General Activities:

• Analyze project approaches and perform an Impact Risk Assessment of implementations.
• Gather and consolidate information about applications/implementations to be validated.
• Describe or propose a Test Approach.
• Create a Test Plan.
• Demand or prepare a test environment compliant with provided standards and procedures.
• Coordinate test execution.
• Monitor the progress of tests with other teams (testing team, project team, technical experts, functional experts, etc.).
• Document and report test progress and results to the Test Team Lead and project manager.
• Contribute to the improvement/optimization of the testing process within the project or department.

Technical Skills Specific to the Mission:

• Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft products.
• Expertise in testing/quality assurance and ISTQB testing approaches.
• Experience in coordinating between different business teams, technical teams, and project stakeholders.
• Practical knowledge and experience in working on large cross-functional and cross-departmental projects.
• Practical knowledge of ITSM services and processes.
• Knowledge of software release management issues and specificities (lifecycle).
• Knowledge and experience in the public transportation domain.
• Practical knowledge of Service Now is a plus.
• Experience in technical implementation projects is a plus.

Required Certifications:

• ISTQB Foundation
• Certified ISTQB Advanced
• ITSM knowledge or certification
• Knowledge or certification in "Agile way of working" is a plus
• Knowledge or certification in cloud testing is a plus
