We offer you the opportunity to learn everything from A to Z. To strengthen our team in the planning department at our Zeebrugge location, we are looking for a Trailer Planner.

Purpose Of The Role

Assisting the planning department in receiving and processing transport orders in accordance with the company’s

quality standards and the specific requirements of the customer.

Job Description

  • Evaluate and record orders in consultation with the fellow planner;
  • Instruct drivers, colleagues, or subcontractors;
  • Arrange couplings/adjust daily planning based on operational issues or customer requests;
  • Review planning and set priorities;
  • Communicate with EEC outside office hours;
  • Assist in the execution of the planning;
  • Process administrative data, claims, waiting hours, etc.;
  • Report to the Supervisor Operations.

Profile

  • Education: Preferably a degree in logistics;
  • Language skills: Good knowledge of Dutch and English;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, driving and rest times, geographical knowledge, and market prices is a plus;
  • Experience in a similar position is an absolute must;
  • Willing to work in shifts from 6 AM to 2 PM / from 2 PM to 10 PM.
