Treasury Analyst

The Treasury Analyst will analyze and/or manage cash management, cash flow forecasting, liquidity best practices across a global organization.

The individual in this role will leverage technology and apply policies and procedures to support the company’s global cash operations, daily cash position, cash flow forecasting, liquidity projections, bank documentation, borrowing, bank guarantees, FX trading settlement, payments processing. This person will participate in, align and provide support on global Treasury projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

• Prepare or approve cash position and payments release in bank portals
• Forecast company cash requirements for different currencies
• Assist with cash management procedures and maintain banking relationships for new bank account and treasury management products setup
• Process and distribute bank reporting to other departments, as needed
• Perform user and bank administration processes
• Maintain control of financial documentation for SOX, internal and external auditors, and reporting
• Identify system enhancements and process improvements to streamline cash management and receivables/payables processes, increase efficiencies and accuracy by reducing manual work, and better leverage currently available banking services
• Generate analysis and recommendations for capital allocation strategy (dividends, subsidiary capital contributions and inter-company borrowing)
• Partner with global finance team to implement global banking, cash pooling and treasury system integrations
• Conduct necessary research and analysis to support treasury projects
• Follow standard operating procedures to ensure compliance
• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in finance, accounting, economics, or business management
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in treasury, accounting, or finance role which required conceptual thinking, data analysis, financial modeling and fact-based conclusions
• Punctual and organizationally strong
• Knowledge of Excel

Preferred:

• Previous Treasury experience
• Experience with treasury or financial systems integration
• Experience with cash flow forecasting in an internationally diverse finance environment
• Project management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives while taking accountability for work product
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
