V.I.E - Health & Scientific Affairs and Regulatory Affairs Manager (M/F) - March 2022

This 12 months V.I.E (renewable) in both Health & Scientific Affairs and Regulatory Affairs Manager will start in March or April 2022, and will be located in Bruxelles (Belgium).

Context:

As VIE Jr Health & Scientific Affairs and Regulatory Affairs Manager, you join the General Secretary team of Belgium. You support 2 sub teams: 50% Health Affairs (Dairy & Plant-Based products) & 50% Regulatory (Specialized Nutrition products).
You report to the Sr. Health & Scientific Affairs Manager and will work in very close contact with the Sr. Regulatory Manager.
In this role, you play a crucial role in the implementation of the strategy and action plan for all categories; as well as support the activities of the local agenda on One Planet One Health.

Duties & responsibilities :

Health Affairs:

• You support the scientific communication plan towards Health Care Professionals (HCP’s) - development of newsletters, material to be sent to dietitians, support in congresses, etc.
• You validate the marketing & sales material towards consumers
• You support in the Health influencers campaigns
• You support in the internal communication plan on Science & Nutrition and on Dairy and Waters plans.

Regulatory Affairs:

• You support the Legal & Regulatory team in delivering high quality and pragmatic regulatory advice to the Specialized Nutrition business in Belux.
• You review first versions of external communication materials and tools (packs, healthcare professional and consumer communication) from a regulatory perspective,
• You raise internal awareness on regulatory guidelines, and support training/on-boarding preparation;
• You notify Belgian and Luxembourg authorities to ensure proper commercialization of new products in the market,
• You verify and translate label packaging to ensure correctness and language alignment,
• You check our websites pro-actively and find opportunities for improvement

Must-have:

• You hold a Master degree with a scientific background (e.g. Nutritionist, Food Technologies, Bio-Engineering, Biology, Dietician). It is a great asset if you an additional degree or followed courses in Legal.
• You have a pro-active mindset, are an independent worker and are eager to learn.
• You have excellent interpersonal & communication skills - both internally and externally towards external stakeholders.
• You are fluent in English & French (written & verbal).

Nice to have :

• Knowledge of Dutch is strong asset.
