As the VP of Product Management, you will play a leading role to help CluePoints become a product led organization. You are first and foremost a people manager that strives to build high performing team. You will lead a team of product managers (from Juniors to Principals). This role reports to the Chief Product & Officer.
You are an expert in the product management craft and supporting process. You have demonstrated product management experience (theory but mainly years of practice) as well as people leadership skills and experience. You care about your team member; you lead by example.
Responsibilities
Your single most important responsibility will be to develop & scale a strong team of product managers & drive the transformation of CluePoints towards a real product led organization.
Manage a team of high-performing product managers (recruit and hire, coach and mentor, promote proactively, define and support their career path)
Manage the product development process from idea generation to launch.
Lead the product managers team to develop and execute the product roadmap
Continuously improve CluePoints product management team’s impact and productivity, building a culture of product excellence. Leverage product management techniques and best practices to ensure we build, launch, run and measure product experiences that customers love and value
Collaborate with the Principal Product Managers and the CPO at defining best-in-class & standardised product management processes that will help us reduce risk and build/launch products more rapidly and more successfully.
Develop a data-driven culture within your organization: defining, monitoring, and tracking KPIs & OKRs
Ensure good communication and knowledge sharing across the entire product organization as well as outside our organization
Act as escalation point on critical product issue
Qualifications
Management experience is non-negotiable you must have at least 5-10 years of experience as a product leader in a B2B SaaS environment.
A great team builder, an excellent recruiter, and a great issue resolver
Strong change management experience
Strong leadership skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Understanding of technology and SaaS business models
Ability to navigate complex cross-functional relationships
A strong customer-focused mindset and an understanding of the end-to-end product development process, user experience & design concepts.
Excellent English skills. Native speaker is a plus.
Experience working in an agile development environment
Experience in budgeting and resource/recruitment planning
