Job Req Number: 54594Time Type: Full TimeWarehouse SupervisorMove forward as Warehouse Supervisor at DSV in Puurs.About The RoleAs a Warehouse Supervisor you are responsible for the daily management and coordination of the warehouse.We are a multi-customer site where you will manage several customers.Tasks
  • You prioritize & divide the operational tasks among your team of employees so that they are carried out correctly and efficiently
  • You are responsible for the planning of your personnel and material
  • You are the first point of contact for problems and provide solutions
  • You monitor the correct implementation of the work instructions and make adjustments where necessary.
  • You report to the site manager
  • You are responsible for conducting evaluation interviews and recruiting staff
  • You optimize the processes in collaboration with the team and this in function of volumes and customer requirements
  • You perform stock counts
  • You welcome new employees and encourage rapid integration into the team
  • You are responsible for drawing up SOPs, processes and work instructions

  • You already have several years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
  • You have experience in setting up improvement projects and optimisations
  • Language skills: Dutch: very good, English: good
  • You get along well with Excel (tables, filters, data analysis) in preparation for the business meeting
  • You know how to keep an overview and you are a people coach
