As a Microsoft System Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our operational IT environment.

You will work independently on a variety of technical tasks, ensuring systems are stable, secure, and high performing.

You follow established processes meticulously and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT services.

This all within a mainly Microsoft Server environment with applications like Exchange, SQL server, BizTalk, ...

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Microsoft environments (Windows Server, MS SQL Server, SCCM)

Support VMware vCenter environments

Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analyses

Document procedures and technical configurations

Collaborate with other IT teams for project execution and issue resolution

Actively contribute to improving existing processes and procedures

Actively use the ticketing system (Service Now) to document and follow-up activities

Participate in a standby rotation for interventions outside business hours (every 5 to 6 week)

Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or equivalent through experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. At lest 1 to 2 years in Level 3

Strong knowledge of:
System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

Windows Server environments + clusters

Storage solutions

Cisco Hyperflex

AD, DNS

Detail-oriented and structured work approach

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Able to work independently and take initiative

Strict adherence to established processes and procedures

Language: FR/NL + EN
